first_imge-learning news in brief – Marconi Corporation has announced a three-year e-learning contract withSkillSoft after trialling its MultiModal Learning solution (MML). The programmecombines Marconi’s own bespoke e-learning content with Skillsoft’s generic ITand business e-learning and Books24x7 referenceware. SkillSoft will deliver thelearning in five languages via its portal SkillPort 6.  www.skillsoft.com– i10 is a collaboration of 10 east of England universities, including theUniversity of Cambridge, which are combining to deliver free, bite-sizede-learning courses on business innovation. Other universities involved includeAnglia Polytechnic University, the Open University and the University ofHertfordshire. All courses take only 20 minutes to complete.  www.i10.org.uk– SumTotal Systems is the new company formed following the integration ofDocent and Click2learn. Its first product has been announced and will beavailable later in 2004.
