first_img1 Jordan Henderson in action for Liverpool Jordan Henderson insists Liverpool still have plenty of work to do to book their place in the Europa League quarter-finals.The Reds will take a 2-0 lead into the second leg of their last 16 tie with Manchester United after outplaying their domestic rivals at Anfield on Thursday night.But Henderson is wary of complacency creeping in and has warned his teammates they will have to produce a repeat performance at Old Trafford to ensure they progress.“It is only half the job done. Anything can happen in football and I have seen stranger things happen,” said the Liverpool captain.“It is only half-time so we have to make sure in the second half at Old Trafford we play like that again because it will be very difficult.”It was a well deserved victory against a poor United side – described as shambolic by Paul Scholes after the game – and gave Liverpool a third straight win in all competitions.“It was a good team performance,” added Henderson. “You have to concentrate on performances and I feel in the last few weeks performances have been good and results follow.“We have built some momentum and confidence and hopefully we can continue that until the end of the season.“This (result) give us another boost.”last_img read more
